Stable Returns Policy

We want you to enjoy your new Stable purchase, however, if this is not the case we will collect it from you free of charge. Provided your return complies with the terms listed below, we will replace, repair or credit your account. This policy forms part of Stable’s Terms and Conditions and is intended to outline the returns process. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit your statutory rights in any way.

Unwanted products
In general, you can return an unwanted product to us at no charge, provided:

• it is not missing any accessories or parts;
• it is not listed with the disclaimer, “not eligible for return
• it is undamaged and unused, with the original labels and stickers still attached;
• it is in the original packaging, which must be undamaged and in its original condition with all seals still intact (if applicable);
• you log a return email to us at info@stabledesign.co.za within 30 days (or within 7 days for products marked “Clearance”) of delivery to you or collection by you of the unwanted product;
• After 30 days (or 7 days for products marked “Clearance”), you can only return a product if it is defective within 6 months from delivery to or collection by you.

Stable will not charge a fee for the collection of the item/s you wish to return, however we may refuse collection of product if not properly packaged. Once the product/s are safely back in our premises we will inspect them and approve your refund provided the above conditions are met. Once the approval is granted we will refund your account within 14 working days. Please note that sometimes a refund may take as long as 48 hours to reflect in your account once it has been processed.

Want to exchange?
Unfortunately, we do not allow exchanges for another product. If you do not want the item anymore and the above conditions are met, we will gladly refund you and you can continue shopping at Stable for something else you prefer.

Not what you ordered?
We are only human and sometimes mistakes do occur. If this is the case and we accidentally deliver wrong product to you, or if the product is not as described on the Website (or if it is missing any accessories), please email us at orders@stabledesign.co.za us and we will collect the product from you at no charge.
Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will, at your choice, deliver the correct product to you as soon as possible (if the correct product is available); or credit your account with the purchase price of the product within 14 days of the return (or refund you if that is your preference).

Products not eligible for returns
The following products are NOT eligible for a refund, exchange or credit:

• products marked "Final Sale";
• books;
• underwear;
• earrings;
• fragrance or candle which has been used;
• products which have been personalised for you or made to your specifications, unless defective.

Products damaged on delivery Should you notice that a product is damaged when you open it please send an email to info@stabledesign.co.za to inform us of this. Please remember to hang on to the original packaging as it the product will need to be returned in it. Once we have received your email we will arrange collection at no charge. Once the product/s are safely back in our premises we will inspect them and approve your refund, provided the above conditions are met. Once the approval is granted we will refund your account within 14 working days. Please note that sometimes a refund may take as long as 48 hours to reflect in your account once it has been processed. We will always do our best to repair or replace the item as quickly as possible but sometimes there may be delays due to manufacture time of new products.

Defective products
At Stable we pride ourselves on our goods being of the highest quality and without defect. Should you notice that a product has a defect when you open it please send an email to info@stabledesign.co.za

How to identify product defects?
You can identify defective products as products that have a deficiency or flaw, or were unsafe when we supplied them to you. A defect usually means that workmanship involved in the creation of the products was below our commitment to providing you with quality products. It is your responsibility to show us that the product/s are defective.
The following will NOT be regarded as defects and will not entitle you to a return under this section:

• faults resulting from normal wear and tear;
• damage arising from negligence, user abuse or incorrect usage of the product;
• damage arising from electrical surges or sea air corrosion;
• damage arising from a failure to adequately care for the product;
• damage arising from unauthorised alterations to the product;

Please remember to hang on to the original packaging as it the product will need to be returned in it.

Warranty
A product may have a supplier or manufacturer warranty that is more comprehensive than our warranty. We will assist you as far as possible to receive those benefits. Any extended supplier or manufacturer warranty is subject to whatever terms and conditions the supplier or manufacturer may impose. Please ensure that you aware of those terms and conditions.
If you have received a product which turns out to be defective, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible after you become aware of the defect, but in any event within 6 months after delivery / collection of the product (except in the case of an extended supplier warranty, which is set out below.

Once the product/s are safely back in our premises we will inspect them and approve your refund provided the above conditions are met. Once the approval is granted we always do our best repair/replace quickly but sometimes there may be delays due to manufacture time of new products. Please be sure to return the item in its original packaging and make sure all the accessories are included.
Our courier is entitled to refuse collection of a product that is not properly packaged for transport.
Where there is no extended supplier warranty period, unfortunately, we cannot facilitate returns that fall outside of the 6 months. In the case of an Extended Supplier Warranty existing this will be stipulated in a warranty supplied with the product, should there be no warranty with the product that means there is none in place.
Please note that an extended supplier warranty is subject to terms and conditions the supplier or manufacturer may impose. It is your responsibility to make yourself aware of any such terms and conditions.
In the case of an extended supplier warranty then it is your responsibility to provide suitable packaging, include all the accessories.
Please note that it will be at our discretion to repair/refund or replace the item, furthermore Stable is not obligated to credit/repair/replace any item after 6 months as this will form part of the manufacturers responsibility.
Our courier is entitled to refuse collection of a product that is not properly packaged for transport.

Discount vouchers
At Stable we will, from time to time, offer two types of vouchers - one with a fixed amount off the purchase price (e.g. R250) or another with a percentage off (e.g. 15%). If you use a voucher to purchase a product that you later return for a refund in accordance with this policy then no refund in cash for portion of the purchase price which you paid using the voucher will be refunded. You will only be refunded for the amount you paid for the item.

Charges
If you return a defective product to us, but you fail to return all of the accessories that were sold with that product, we are entitled (subject to applicable law) to refuse the return, only to replace the item that you did return, or to estimate the value of the missing accessories and only to credit or refund you in respect of the returned item. If you return a product that does not comply with this policy, you may be liable to reimburse Stable for the cost of collecting the product from you and the cost of having the product returned to you.

Your rights.
Nothing in our returns policy limits any of your legal rights. We try our best to notify you of your legal rights and explain how these rights have been incorporated in our Stable Returns Policy. We support and endorse any practice that provides you with a superior customer experience.
